Thanks!
It is difficult to believe that November is already here. We just wanted to take this time to tell you how thankful we are to have the opportunity to work with your children. We certainly feel that it is a privilege!
Unfortunately, we become so busy that we forget to say “Thanks” for all that “You” do! At this “Thanksgiving Holiday”, it seems a perfect time to tell you how we appreciate you and your child!

Field Trip
Due to inclement weather the field trip has been rescheduled. We will be going on Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Students will need to be here no later than 7:45. Students that planned to bring their lunch on Monday need to bring their lunch Wednesday. Parents that plan to volunteer need to let us know by tomorrow.

Johnny Appleseed's visit to Second Grade!
Johnny Appleseed's visit was very informative and interesting. He opened the door to "apple tasting."
Unit of Study!
We will be studying about "The Geographic Regions of Georgia." Look for pictures as we work.
Field Trip
We are so excited about our upcoming field trip! It will give the children an opportunity to learn about our resources in Georgia, as well as, the U.S.
If you have not already made plans to experience this with your child, please consider it. Just remember that you are responsible for your transportation, admission and lunch.
